Secretary’s Report from August 7, 2023
Trustees Meeting
Attendees: Pat Pustell-Chairperson, Dorisann Allenson-Secretary, Lisa Buerk-Treasurer,
Trustees- Carl Tyler and Linda Hatfield. Alternate Trustees- Roger ter Kuile and Terry
Sousoure. Director- Jenny Spofford
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson at 10:08 am.
Secretary’s Report: A motion was made to accept the secretary’s report dated July 18,2023
by Carl Tyler and seconded by Lisa Buerk. The motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report: A motion to accept the treasurer’s report dated August 4,2023 was
made by Linda Hatfield and seconded by Carl Tyler. The motion passed.
Director’s Report: There was a discussion about MOU’s. A discussion was had about the
copy machine being obsolete. Porter Office Machines was discussed.
A motion was made by Linda Hatfield to replace the copy machine immediately and pay an
extra $7.00. It was seconded by Lisa Buerk. The motion passed.
A motion was made by Lisa Buerk to accept the director’s report and seconded
by Linda Hatfield. The motion passed.
Old Business: There was discussion about Coffee with the Friends of the Library
on Sept 26, 2023 at 8:30 am.
There was discussion about the trustees policy review meeting at the library on Aug 17, 2023
at 10:00 am.
Discussions were had concerning programs. (Amnesty Month, Storytime with Sadie)
New Business: Action Items: An on-going discussion was had about attracting new members
to the Friends of the Library group.
A discussion was had about the Book for Libraries sponsored by the Education Committee of
Green Mountain Conservation Group. Thanks to Pat Pustell for donating books to the OPL.

Adjourn: A motion to adjourn was made by Linda Hatfield and seconded by Lisa Buerk.
