Gloria B. Aspinall presents “Old Time Stories from the Valley” at the Ossipee Public Library
Gloria B. Aspinall, storyteller of “Old Time Stories from the Valley” will be at the Ossipee Public Library on Thursday, August 11 at 6:30 pm. She will have a power point presentation of stories from the Mount Washington Valley. She will also bring props such as carvings from her grandfather’s portable logging camp on the Kancamagus Highway; tools used to make hammocks and fish nets; small stools with caning made in the logging camps; kerosene lanterns; an old fashioned toaster that was used on the woodstove, and more. Gloria Aspinall was born in Conway, NH and lives in Madison, NH. She has spoken at the Remick Museum, the Russell Colbath Barn, and several local libraries. Come to the Ossipee Public Library to take a step back in time as you listen to Gloria’s wonderful stories. Free and open to the public.
