Artwork by Lucy Thompson Merrow is now on display at the Ossipee Public Library for the months of September and October. Mrs. Merrow is a member of the Governor Wentworth Arts Council, as well as the Mount Washington Valley Art Association (M.W.V.A.A.). Her original art may be seen at the Bank of New Hampshire in Ossipee and Conway and at the law offices of Helme, Cole & Smith in Ossipee. Her original of the Old Man of the Mountain has been on display at the State House Visitors Center in Concord.
As a Zoology major at U.N.H., she took art classes with John Hatch. Since her graduation she has studied art through adult education and is currently in an on-going oil painting class. The paintings on display are for sale and contact information is available at the library.
