Pat Jones was born in Wolfeboro and attended elementary school there. The rest of her education was in NH, except for getting a Doctorate in Elementary Education at Boston University.
She taught elementary school for thirty years at most of the grade levels, twenty-eight years at Carpenter School.
She has lived in Ossipee many years, becoming involved with town government after retiring from teaching. Pat was Selectman for two terms and currently is the secretary for the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, and the Conservation Commission. She also represents Ossipee in several other regional organizations including LRPC, MWVEC and ELRHC.
Her hobbies are gardening and oil painting. Her pleasure is the time she spends with her friends and her cats.
She has been painting for about 50 years and teaches an oil painting class as part of the Ossipee Recreation Program on Monday mornings starting Sept. 9, 2013.
