Sara Gaewsky grew up in upstate New York and moved to Tuftonboro in 1994. While she was living in New York, she spent a lot of time with her grandfather from whom she believes she inherited her artistic talent. She still remembers a beautiful ocean mural he had on his wall. Although she does not have spare time during the day to sit down and concentrate on a painting, she still finds time to come back to the peace and feeling of accomplishment that painting brings her way. Sara now has a four-year-old daughter, Annabelle, who also enjoys painting. Sara and her daughter try to spend time outdoors whenever possible, soaking in the sun and finding inspiration in their daily lives together. They love to go hiking on the weekends and camping whenever possible. Copies of her paintings are available on a commission basis. Sara’s paintings can be viewed at the Ossipee Public Library for the month of May.
