NH native Erin McGrail of Meadow Pond Animal Hospital will be coming to the Ossipee Public Library on Monday, March 17 at 6:30 pm to give a presentation on Lyme disease in dogs. Dr. McGrail is a native of southern NH. She went to veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts. She did her clinical year at LSU before coming back to NH to settle in with her dog and three cats. She has been working in the Lakes Region for a little over two years. Dr. McGrail will be talking about the deer tick, how Lyme disease is transmitted, the disease itself, and how it can be prevented.
